Married to Mitch an Electronics Technician in the US Navy currently on Recruiter duty in Central Florida.

Puppy mom to Mojo and Tipsy, two adorable 6 year old Boston Terrier Boxer mixes. They are incredibly lazy which suits me just fine!

I would classify myself as a semi-professional-hobbyist photographer. I’ve shot a few weddings, a smattering of children and family shoots, a homecoming here and there and a handful of engagement sessions. I’ve also been employed as a studio photographer where I specialized in studio management and senior portraiture. I shoot with a Nikon DSLR with a few different lenses but I’m also a self professed iPhone-ographer and an obsessive selfie taker. So sue me!

I. Love. My. Jeep. No, really, I adore that vehicle more than a person should love a car. It’s not just a car. It’s a Jeep. It’s an icon. And please don’t ask me when I’ll get a “mom car” because I doubt you’ll get a nice or classy response. I pray that day will never come, if I have my way the only other vehicle I’ll let my Jeep go for is another Jeep.

This is my first attempt at being a stay at home mom, I’ve been a stay at home wife and it worked until I got bored. This will be my first foray into stay at home mom-dom (and possibly work at home mom-dom), I doubt I’ll be bored and I hope I’ll feel fulfilled and like I’m a contributor.

I also love to take naps, so much so that I felt I needed to convey that in a blog name! (haha) Sleep, in general, is a wonderful, powerful, fun thing for me! I can plan my day around a nap. I wonder how this is going to work out with a new baby?
